It was the summer of 2000, Sydney 2000….The world had their gaze fixed on Sydney for the Sydney olympic games. Architects all over town were looking to make their mark, with limited resources and time, it was a great opportunity to showcase this beautiful city to the world. This was a memorable time for Joelle Sarkis, as Project architect for the Front of House of the House of the International Broadcasting Centre in Homebush. Working as part of a large team of around 30 people with HBD Architects, on what was one of the largest warehouse conversions in the country on a grand scale.
