Joelle Sarkis

Director, Sarkis Hill Architects

Joelle is a registered architect and an interior designer.  Her breadth of experience spans across 24 years of work in architecture and interiors in NSW and abroad.  Her expertise in residential architecture provides her clients with the comfort of going through the whole process of design through to construction with ease. Her approach is collaborative and she has assembled a team of highly skilled and multi disciplinary design professionals. Joelle’s strengths lie in her ability to work well with people, and to coalesce the design team to produce cohesive outcomes in building design.

The early years…

At the completion of her university studies at UNSW in 1995, Joelle developed her career working for reputable mid to large architectural firms in the CBD.  At Group GSA she worked on defence and education projects, at Reid Campbell Group as an interior designer and at Bligh Voller Nield as a health architect working on major tertiary hospitals.  Examples of her work with these companies can be seen below

The latter years …

10 years on in 2005, Joelle launched Sarkis Hill Architects initially specialising in residential and interior design and later branching into health and education. Examples of this work can be seen under the “projects” section of this website. Since that time most of the projects undertaken came by referral, a testament to the good service in architecture that SHA has been providing to their Clients.
